Welcome to your New Life!

You are a totally new person! You may ask, "when did that happen?" It happened when you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 says "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Saved from what? Sin!!!

Believe it or not, we were all dead in sin. Ephesians 2:4-5 says "But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so very much, that even while we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's special favor that you have been saved!)"

Think of sin this way: You are an archer. You see the Bull's Eye and aim for it, but due to some error, you miss the mark.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard."

But don't worry. Titus 3:3-7 says "Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled by others and became slaves to many wicked desires and evil pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy. We hated others, and they hated us. But then God our Savior showed us his kindness and love. He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of his mercy. He washed our sins away and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did. He declared us not guilty because of his great kindness. And now we know that we will inherit eternal life."

God has given you another chance because He loves you.
